These are the main mechanics to the game.

Team Selection

Choose between the U.S. Army and the Việt Cộng

Class Selection

There are 6 Classes in the game, that have access to different weapons and equipment. Try to play the best role that your team needs.

Loadout Selection

Each Class has a Primary, Secondary, and melee weapon slots. Some larger melee weapons can take over your secondary slot. Certain classes might be granted Equipment or Special Equipment. Every class except Engineer and Radioman has at least 1 Grenades and Throwables slot as well.

Command Menu

The Command Menu is a wheel of selectable icons that appear on screen if you press (Default []). It allows to send messages out to your teammates, while also having an audio voiceline. Communication is crucial for good teamplay.

Weapon Basics

These include

Weapon Penetration

Bullets can penetrate walls and objects at cost to there damage in proportion to the material Modifier. (AKA it go through a thin sheet of glass no problem but thick concrete or metal objects, bullets will only go through so far.)


Bullets that have penetrated an object or person will have a unique kill icon next to it in the kill feed.

Map Mechanics

Some Maps have respawnable Explosive Barrels or Boxes

Some Maps have doors that can be opened/closed by pressing the 'USE' key. Most of these doors are destructible.

Some Maps have elevators that can be activated by pressing the 'USE' key on the Elevator button Panel

Score

You score points by getting frags, assists, doing objectives, helping teammates, and getting Ribbons. You can get extra points with Kill Rewards.

Trophies

As you play you can unlock new ranks (up to 35) and poker cards (52).

By using the ingame selectors, Vote Menu, and Console Commands. You can tailor the experience to your liking.
