Fanning

Revolver fanning is a technique used in shooting revolvers, particularly in quick-draw scenarios or cowboy-style shooting. In this method, the shooter holds the trigger of a single-action revolver down and repeatedly strikes or "fans" the hammer with the other hand. This action allows for rapid firing, as each strike on the hammer causes the revolver to cock and fire.
